AVG is a free and paid edition Antivirus program which helps a lot in protection from viruses. Most of Internet users installs this program and few of them removes later, but here comes a big problem when you have successfully uninstalled AVG. Once this uninstalled you will be seeing search results in Firefox showing AVG secure search results. This AVG hides so many useful sites from results so we need to remove AVG secure search, Here some of the tips that I suggest to uninstall successively from your Firefox browser.
1.Make sure AVG and its related extensions everything should be uninstalled.
2.Another Important thing is change the default search engine in firefox options.
Removing AVG secure search from Google results:
1. Type or paste ( about:config) in the Firefox address bar and press enter. You will see like this below image in your browser.
Once you see a list of lines just paste this word in filter bar (search bar) Keyword.url and hit enter.
You will see avg secure search link click on it modify or reset and then delete that link.
Also remove browser.search.default engine name
If any related avg search lists in the same list, then please remove them. Once done you will never see AVG safe secure search results.
