Gmail allows to create a signature for promoting our services. This is free to use and get exposures whenever we send emails to someone either friends, relatives or unknown person. If we make our signature neatly, then everyone should like to click and view it.
We are able to add images, links, alt tag too. Gmail signature allows ordinary WYSYING editor for adding links and images the way we want. Gmail does not allow you to upload images, but link to an image where it is uploaded.
Steps:
1. Click on the settings icon at the top right corner just above first email.
Once you clicked that Icon, a list of links will pop-up and from that click Settings.
Clicking to this settings link a new page will open containing everything for uploading avatar, adding signature links,
Scroll to the middle of the page and look for signature box. See below image and the red circle to know where it is.
click below the no signature pointer to activate the signature box. Once ticked you are able to image or links in the signature box and show it to the email receivers.
For adding an image you need to click the image icon and a pop-up box will open where can be able to add the link of image. Gmail does not allow for uploading images directly to signature, however we need to use third party image upload sites to get a link and add to this Gmail signature.
Go to the photo bucket or any image website, upload your own image or get a free image link that you need to add in Gmail account.
Paste your image url into the box once done click ok
Once done everything you see links and images in that box. There is an option to use this image as thumbnail, larger size, or the normal size.
There are more things to play with this signature box and show signature in multiple colors. Once done everything click Save changes at the bottom of the page, this will add signature whenever we send mails.
