(Solved) Iphone 5 Not Turning on after Battery Replacement

Here comes an interesting Story from my Phone. Recently my phone battery went in bad condition and replaced with a new one, but at this time I placed the battery in Wrong direction that is plus to minus and minus to plus.

Battery Terminals

It got short-circuited and went into heat, immediately I removed the battery from its slot and kept it aside for few minutes. The new battery was cooled, but got damaged a little at the plastic and at the plus or minus poles of the battery.

I replaced with the old battery and it never started again, tried researching all over the internet, but unable to find the solution. Some has mentioned same the solution I come up with it.

Direction of Battery

My Solution is just place the phone aside for 3 to 4 days and replace with the old battery or a new ones and the phone will start working. The phone was dead due to the short-circuit problem and hence the diode may have closed the connection for passing voltage into the mobile and it will release only after 2 to 3 days.

Never insert the battery in wrong direction as it will results in this type of condition.

Again I am saying just place the battery and phone aside for 3 to 4 days and it will start working from there on-wards. I am not responsible if the phone is not working after following my solution.
