Lenovo Y410

17 July 2009 4 Comments

People think lenovo  is best company in producing computers and laptops but this is fallacy.Never believe on any company that is going to help you or they may give a good laptop

From my side lenovo is great and works brilliantly except the worse thing is DVD drive this is very bad that will makes lenovo a bad company. You can read in their forums how the people are facing about this matshita dvd ram drive.I suggest to you never buy lenovo laptop untill they remove this matshita dvd drive

The specifications i give for y410 are below

Intel core 2 duo processor

Intel centrino wireless solution

Support ddr2 533/667mhz Dram with dual channel

RAMBO multiburner drive

14.1 WXGA vibrant view display

!.3 mega pixel fixed camera

Certified dolby home theater

160 gb sata hard drive

lenovo y410 supports one key to recover windows but you will loss data stored by you.It also supports usb mouse drive .It has veriface detection which is very good to recognise who used our laptop.one touch keyboard with sensitive

one can use as a portable dvd player while driving without starting windows. This is good option for travelers but the dvd driver should work otherwise this option is waste. So please dont waste your time and money on lenovo untill they remove matshita dvd drive.Even the service centers doesnt do properly. They just replace the chip and it works for less than a week

it might be hardware or software problem try rebooting with cd since the recovery button doesnot recover anything it just restore the old files
have you showed to service centers
